[Ranger][Raider] Toxic Raider

My builds are available as-is with no support. They are basic mechanisms/functionalities guide and they are not meant for new player learning the base game.
If you play one of my build in HC, don't come here telling me i ripped your toon. I don't play in hardcore and i don't mind about your HC failure whining.

#01 - Basic

Toxic Rain is one of my favorite skill in the game right now. It is easy to scale, offer a nice AoE DPS and is not so expensive to gear.
You can clear the entire end game content with a Quill Rain, a dirt cheap level 5 bow easily buyable in a softcore league.


I recommend to go "Evasion & Life" for a cheap league starter and a decent end game farmer.
You will replace the Quill Rain with a +2 and +1 (+3) rare bow later when you get enough currency.


You want to invest in a +2 to AoE Skill Tabula Rasa when you get the ~25c it will cost ya.


Your first expensive upgrade should be a Maloney's Mechanism. It's a ~1ex quiver with up to 3 sockets.
It's trigger a socketed bow skill when you attack with a bow, giving a nice def/off possibility.


#02 - Leveling & Bandits

Leveling as a ranger is fairly easy. Start using a Quill Rain as soon as you reach level 5!
You will be using Split Arrow as soon as you reach the first town and link it with Mirage Archer Support at level 4.
You won't have any mana problems as soon as you start using a Quill Rain. Spam as you need it!

When you reach level 12, you will receive and start using Toxic Rain with Mirage Archer Support, like before.
You won't use another main active skill for the entire game and you will melt act bosses due to the high Quill Rain attack speed.

You will complete the 10 acts on a 4 links with no problem. A 5 or 6 links is not necessary and will induce mana sustain problems.

Bandits: Kill all for +2 Passive Points. (You can help Alira for +15% res and switch it later to get the passives points.)
